WALPOLE, MA – Michal Stojka, a forward for the Express Hockey Club, has committed to SUNY Morrisville for the 2026-27 season.
Stojka, an ‘05 out of Usti Nad Labem, Czechia, chose the Eastern Hockey League (EHL) for his age-out season. He recorded six goals and eighteen assists in 45 games. He also added a highlight-reel, lacrosse-style goal in the postseason.
“Michal played for us at the Express for one season and made a mark from day one,” said Express Head Coach Nic Cota. “His eagerness to be around the rink and contagious character really made him stand out early. His speed, IQ, and work ethic are going to be a great fit for Morrisville. Congratulations to Michal and his family on his commitment to further his education and hockey career in a great conference! We look forward to watching his continued success in America!”
Stojka will join multiple EHL alumni, including two former Express players on the Mustangs.
