Walpole, MA – Ville Bodin, a forward for the Express Hockey Club, has committed to Curry College for the 2026-27 season.
An ‘05 out of Gothenburg, Sweden, Bodin has established himself as one of the best players in all of the EHL. A two-time All-Star, Bodin’s first season saw him eclipse fifty points and he currently boasts 38 points in just 19 games this year. He leads the league with 25 goals.
“I couldn’t be more proud of Ville and the commitment he’s made to himself through this process,” Express Head Coach Nic Cota said. “From day one, Ville has shown a relentless work ethic, a team-first mindset, and a genuine love for the game. He’s earned this opportunity through his consistency, humility, and willingness to be coached. Curry College is getting not only a talented hockey player, but an outstanding young man. I have no doubt he’ll thrive at a nationally ranked program. It’s been a privilege to coach Ville, and I’m excited to watch him take this next step in both his hockey and academic career.”
The Colonels, led by Head Coach Peter Roundy, currently sit at number ten in the country in Division III rankings.
“I am grateful and excited for the opportunity to continue my hockey career and further my education at Curry College,” said Bodin. “The past two years with Coach Cota and the Express Hockey Club have had a huge impact on me, and I can’t thank the coaching staff enough—especially Coach Cota for the trust, support, and pushing me to become the player I am today. I’m also incredibly thankful for my parents and family for supporting me every step of the way and always believing in me. I wouldn’t be in this position without them, and I’m excited for what the next chapter at Curry will bring.”
