Walpole, MA — The Walpole Express are proud to announce the commitment of Ashton Allain to Saint Michaels College. Located in Colchester, VT, the Purple Knights play in the Northeast-10 Conference.
The ’01 defenseman from Brentwood, TN completed his second season with the Express organization.
On joining the Purple Knights this fall, Ashton said, “I was looking for a school that felt like a home. When I went on my visit, the staff and team made the entire experience very welcoming. I am excited to join a competitive program that is looking to build and get better.”
“Ashton has grown a lot in his two seasons in Walpole,” said Head Coach Josh Holmstrom. “Coming off an injury last season where he did not see much game time, we wanted to focus on developing every single day. He has done a great job all season long of living in the moment and working on his game. Ashton is going to continue to get better and I am very excited to see his progress at the next level.”
When asked about his experience with the Express, “I really liked my two years. It has really helped me grow as a person and as a hockey player. There was never a day that went by that I didn’t enjoy Walpole. I will never forget my time here.”
The organization would like to congratulate Ashton Allain on his NCAA college commitment.
