Walpole, MA – The Walpole Express are proud to announce the commitment of Brayden Patricia to Norwich University. Norwich is located in Northfield, VT and competes in the NEHC. Norwich is currently ranked #1 in the NCAA D3 national rankings. Brayden is the 12th player from the Express roster to commit to a college this season.
“Norwich is the right fit for me personally based off what I want as a career and what I would like to do with it,” said Patricia. “I am going to pursue the Air Force while at Norwich and playing hockey for one of, if not the best, D3 programs in the country. I felt that it would best set me up for my hockey career and professional career after school as well.
Express Coach Cody Campbell spoke about Patricia’s recent commitment, ”Brayden was a gigantic addition for us over the holiday break. He is a gifted offensive player and is a threat to score every time he’s on the ice. He has also bought in to our culture and has been committed from his very first day here to help us continue building on that culture. I am extremely happy for Brayden and his family that he is going to have the opportunity to play at the #1 ranked NCAA D3 program in the nation and pursue a career in the Air Force while doing that.”
”Even though I just got to Walpole a few weeks ago, the culture and the way this organization is run is top notch. I feel like this is one of the best programs in all of Junior hockey,” said Patricia.
“I am very happy I made the decision to come to the Exprees and I can’t thank Coach Campbell, Coach Holmstrom, and all my teammates enough for bringing me in and welcoming me with open arms.”
Please join the Express organization in congratulating Brayden Patricia on his NCAA commitment.
