Walpole, MA – Framingham, MA native and Walpole Express defenseman Pat Lavin has committed to Salem State University in Salem, MA for the fall of 2019. The 6’1, 185 lb offensive defenseman is a great skater who has the ability to create offense each time he is on the ice. Lavin is a great addition for the the Vikings who recently just fell short of an NCAA berth this season.
“Pat was a great addition to our blue line this season. His ability to make plays and get up the ice quickly will translate nicely in the way Salem plays,” said Coach Lounsbury. “It was nice to see how far “Lav” came this season. His commitment to the game and work ethic will make him a great NCAA player.”
“I’m beyond excited to be attending Salem in the fall. I would like to thank my family, friends and coaches who have helped me along this journey. I can’t thank coach Lounsbury enough for helping me develop this season into a well rounded player. I hope to keep working with him on ice for as long as I’m playing,” said Lavin
The Walpole Express would like to wish Pat and his family best of luck moving forward!
