Walpole, MA – Tonowanda, NY native Trevor Pray in his first season with the EHL Walpole Express has committed to SUNY Brockport in the very competitive SUNYAC for the fall of 2018. Pray, a 19 year old 6’3 skilled forward, was recognized for his goal scoring ability this past season as he netted 22 goals to go along with his 18 assists in 48 regular season games.
“Trevor is going to be hard to replace. He made an incredible transition from playing in the EHLP to the EHL in just one season and was able to help our club to one of its best seasons yet. His ability to score goals in tight areas is going to help him become a very successful college player. I can’t wait to see what he can do at the next level,” said coach Jon Lounsbury.
“My experience in the EHL and playing for the Walpole Express was extremely valuable in pursuing my college goals. I want to thank Coach Lounsbury and Coach Polino for all the hard work they do with developing players on and off the ice. They have taught me to be a better hockey player and have also shown the team the importance of character and commitment,” said Pray. “I want to thank my family for their support over the years. I look forward to my next four seasons at Brockport.”
The Express would like to wish Trevor and his family best of luck next season at Brockport.
