Walpole, MA – Walpole Express forward Bryan Colburn has committed to Johnson and Wales University in Providence, RI for the fall of 2018. The 5’9, 160 lb. forward from Cumberland, RI is an elite skater who brings a lot offensive ability to any line up. Bryan is a a big get for the Wildcats who will move next season to play in the very competitive NEHC.
“Bryan came to us via the Express Elite team and has proved his ability to score goals at any level,” said Coach Lounsbury. “Bryan has been a spark for us since day one. His ability to score and control the pace of the game is second to none.”
In 28 games this season Colburn has posted 13 goals and 21 assists for 24 points at the midway point.
“I would like to thank the Walpole Express for an incredible 2 seasons of hockey. I am very excited to continue my academic and athletic career at Johnson and Wales University,” said Colburn. “Thank you to my family for giving me the opportunity to chase my dream of playing hockey at the NCAA level.”
