Walpole, MA – Walpole Express Co-Captain Cassidy McNeeley (South Easton, MA) has committed to Trinity College for the fall of 2018. McNeeley, a PG, is a first year Express player.
“When Cassidy walked into Rodman Arema for her first day with the Express, you could tell she felt right at home. As one of the older players, Cassidy is such a huge impact on and off the ice which is why she joined Sami Barletta as Captain,” said Coach Danielle Doherty. “McNeeley is the type of player every coach wants on their roster because of her hard work and dedication. She is one of the hardest working players I have ever coached; she would literally go through a wall for you. She never settles and is always working to develop her game. As a PG, she has spent countless hours with our professional coaches, mostly Todd Stirling, for extra skill work on the ice and Strength & Conditioning coach Michelle Lounsbury, for off ice work”, Doherty said.
“I am so excited to continue my hockey career and further my academics at Trinity. I look forward to seeing what the next four years have in store and I cannot thank my family and everyone at the Walpole Express for helping me reach this goal,” McNeeley said.
Coach Doherty added, “It has been a pleasure coaching Cassidy this year. I cannot wait to watch her at Trinity next year! Everyone from the Express organization congratulates Cassidy and wishes her the best of luck with her future endeavors!”
