Walpole, MA – Morgan Almon of Warwick, RI has committed to King’s College in Wilkes-Barre, PA. Morgan will be a part of King’s College first ever women’s varsity ice hockey team. When King’s begins play in 2017-2018, it will be part of the NCAA Division III newly-formed United Collegiate Hockey Conference.
“Morgan is a versatile player who played both offense and defense for us this season. She will do very well at King’s College because she will be able to play many different roles,” said Coach Doherty. “Morgan is such a hard working kid. This season she was always asking questions on how she can improve her game. She’s a great kid – she’s very respect and so polite.”
“I’m excited to continue my education and to play hockey at King’s College. King’s is the ideal school for me and offers everything that I want in a school. I would like to thank my family, friends, and coaches who have helped me to get to this point in my life and to get this amazing opportunity,” said Almon.
The entire Walpole Express staff wish Morgan all the best in her future endeavors! Good luck Morgan!
