Walpole, MA – Walpole Express forward Bryan Ackil has committed to Connecticut College in New London, CT for the fall of 2017. The 6’0, 185 lb forward from Southborough, MA is a hard working power forward who has the ability to score big goals. He’ll be a big addition to the Camels, which play in the very competitive NESCAC.
“Bryan came to us with some junior hockey experience and has worked incredibly hard to put himself in a position to succeed,” said Express Head Coach Jon Lounsbury. “Bryan’s attitude and work ethic has allowed him to grow so much as a hockey player this season and he came up big this year when we needed him,” added Lounsbury.
“I would like to thank my parents for their endless support. They have always allowed me to to pursue my own path at my own pace and I am forever grateful. I would like to thank my prior coaches, teammates and all of those involved in my development as a player,” said Ackil. “Finally, I’d like to extend my gratitude to the Walpole Express. I couldn’t have chosen a better organization to play my final year of junior hockey with.”
“Our Express family extends big congratulations to Bryan and his family,” Lounsbury said.
